Life Vest Inside - Kindness Boomerang "One Day"
Hertford Grammar School follows a Positive Behavior System. Our team will be using this system as a foundation for behavior in our classrooms. It is important that our students are respectful, cooperative, safe and responsible in all settings during the school day and on the school bus.
Mrs. Jordan is our school guidance counselor. She is our PBIS team leader. If you have any questions or need to contact her please feel free: 252-426-7166 extension 225
To establish accountability an “Oops Board” will be located in each classroom. In the event that a student does not demonstrate our classroom expectations, it will be noted on the “Oops Board”. Missing homework assignments will be noted as well. Students will have a consequence of walking or silent lunch for being on the Oops Board twice in one day.
Fifth Grade Expectations:
As a positive rewards system our team will be following the Hertford Grammar School PBIS system. Panther Paws will be awarded regularly for excellent behavior and students who have exceeded expectations by all staff members of HGS. These can be redeemed quarterly at a celebration.
Work towards having your picture on the "Wall Of Fame" at HGS - Demonstrate excellent PBIS behavior :)
